Job Description

Do you love to have FUN and put SMILES on people’s faces? Being an activities assistant is just that. We want to offer extraordinary engagement to our neighbors to enhance their quality of life. Come help us conduct our meaningful activities such as daily cooking and baking in our residential-style kitchen, holiday celebrations with friends and family, golfing outdoors on our personal putting green, cookouts under our outside courtyards, and many other person-centered activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Organizes and implements daily activities that enrich the lives of residents with a person-centered focus.
  • Socialize with residents, their family members and other staff to learn the personal preferences, interests, needs and any limitations of the resident related to activities.
  • Maintains and/or provides oversight in maintaining progress notes and participation records in accordance with community and state regulations.
  • Maintain organization of supplies, craft patterns/ideas, craft equipment, and any other tools utilized to conduct activities.
  • Follows guidance of the Activity Director and reports all imperative information to her as needed.
