Responsibilities:
- Provide great care to our neighbors using the Positive Approach to Care methodology.
- Answer neighbor call lights and determine how best to help them.
- Provide support and guidance for neighbors with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and laundry.
- Lead/Participate in engagement/activities with neighbors in our community.
- Actively assist with meal services.
- Work collaboratively with the entire care team by documenting your caregiving tasks in our Care Connect app.
- Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Attend specialized training in-services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Dedicated and compassionate caregiver.
- Passionate about and experience with dementia, preferred.
- Possess current, unencumbered, CNA certification in the State of Indiana.
- Ability to think and work independently as well as with direction.
- Communicate professionally in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Skilled with technology, including daily use with minimal errors.
