Your vital part as a member of the Oasis team is:

• Provide great care to our residents.
• Prepare and administer medications per physicians’ orders.
• Count, procure, administer, and document controlled substances.
• Document administration of medications in accordance with Oasis policy.
• Obtain authorization from the licensed nurse on duty prior to administering as needed (PRN) medications.
• Observe and report to the licensed nurse reactions and side effects to medications exhibited by a resident.
• Procure and chart necessary vital signs indicators on all residents as needed.
• Provide support and guidance for residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and laundry.
• Lead/Participate in engagement/activities with residents in our community
• Assisting with meal services
• Work collaboratively with you team by documenting your caregiving task in our Care Connect app.

What you need to become part of the Oasis Team

• Must be a dedicated and compassionate QMA caregiver
• Successful completion of a state-approved Qualified Medication Aide course and written competency examination, maintain annual in-service requirements, and hold a current active Indiana QMA license.
• Must be insulin certified
• Ability to think and work independently as well as with direction.
• Communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Comfortable with technology

Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
